Greetings.
First of all, before you proceed any further, it's important to
understand this programme runs on the VAX VMS side of things, and not
under DOS.
You will need a DOS executable version of zmodem such as DSZ from
Omen Technologies to run on the PC end.
Having said that, the TLB file needs to be extracted under
the VMS Library/Extract command.
Additional documentation can be found within.
The basic switches are similiar to DSZ under DOS, the most notable
difference being that you have seperate SZ and RZ Executable files as
opposed to one file being able to transfer in both directions.
* Please read the TLB documentation carefully in regards to the
* invocation of switches, as DCL command line options generally need
* to be installed ad hoc for each new application added to VMS.
Needless to say, getting this to VMS is going to be hurdle, otherwise
you wouldn't be interested in this file to begin with. The suggested
option, being that VAXLINK is part of VMS, is to borrrow a copy of
Reflections and send the file USING THE COMMAND [F5] option and send
it over with the /F option to preserve the record length of each line.
DO NOT use the SEND RECEIVE files option, since the default binary
sends will result in every block being rendered unusable.
If you're familiar with R4 RCL, then you shouldn't have any problems
dealing with this nonsense.
Good Luck and Happy Uploading!
